This single estate black tea is handpicked in the first flush of spring, high in the foothills of the Himalaya. Grown in the ridge top tea garden of Thurbo Estate and watched over by the towering mass of Kanchenjunga, this tea is light and refined. Graded FTGFOP (Finest Tippy Golden Flowery Orange Pekoe) the leaves are only lightly fermented, providing a perfect balance between a black tea and the delicate fragrance of freshly plucked leaves. This tea is best unclouded by milk or sugar to fully appreciate its pale golden liquor and muscatel palate. Use approx 1 teaspoon (2g) per cup and adjust quantity to suit personal taste.
