This healthy herbal tisane may be used as an anti-inflammatory and as a mild laxative cleanser (helps cleanse the colon), supports lung health, and promotes adrenal gland function. Enjoy the taste of liquorice root in a steamy cup of tea. “It is used primarily in medicine for bronchial problems and coughs, hoarseness, mucous congestion, etc. It may be taken for stomach problems, such as peptic ulcers and for bladder and kidney ailments. It has proven useful in treating symptoms of menopause, regulating menstruation, and relieving menstrual cramps. Licquorice root may also be used for night sweats. As a herbal infusion use 1 teaspoon (2g)  of herbs per half a litre of boiling water. Allow to brew for 4 to 5 minutes.
