The leaves oLELEf Senna, have been used traditionally as a laxative for centuries. This sweetish bitter tea is rich in sennosides and anthraquinones glycosides, including aloe-emodin and rhein (similar to Turkish rhubarb root) and functions as a safe and effective laxative. If you add some peppermint just before drinking it helps with the bitterness. Use approx 1 teaspoon (2g) per cup and adjust to personal taste.
